This is just some of the information that is headed toward
the horse industry. I feel this has a lot of positive points for the
future.
Just some of the areas in which this can assist would be with fire rescues,
reuniting the lost horse or equine with its proper owner. Being sure
that show points are credited to the proper animal, and most of all,
properly tracking vaccines before entry into show sites. Everyone wants
to keep
their horse healthy.
Brand inspectors have met with me and, in fact, have assured me that
this is something they wished had been available years ago. It would
have made their job of owner identification so much easier.
This technology has been around for 17 years, but so far it has been
of benefit primarily only to dogs. We calmly and lovingly bring our animals
into this world hoping to imprint them with our desire to gain their
trust. Freeze branding and tattooing only make ugly marks on our beautiful
equine animals and, in fact, impede the bonding process. Barn management
could be run so much more efficiently if the old out dated mare collars
could be eliminated.
Proper location of the microchip is very important. It has a different
location in the equine than it does in the canine. In the equine it is
always on the left side of the neck and must be properly implanted to
prevent migration. People should be aware of this, and, unless properly
trained, should not microchip their own horses.
You don't have to haul your horse to us, our company is mobile. We come
to clinics, events, shows, and ranches to make it easy as possible for
the equine owner. We microchip and register your horse into a world wide
database right at the location site. You receive a contract with your
horse's name and microchip number.

In California, we are here to help. Call us with your questions or to
set up clinics, large or small. Veterinarians may refer us to their clients,
or your insurance company may use us to provide third party verification
of your animals microchip implantation. We can also come to your location
to scan your animals.
